So yes, it may be that Mother Nature works slowly. We may have “snuck past the rules” in the short term, not because there were no rules, but because the consequences of violating deep relational principles were delayed. Our species may have been coasting on the resilience of larger systems we did not create and did not understand.

That does not mean we truly escaped the law of alignment. It may mean only that alignment was not tested at full scale until recently. For most of our existence, the exam had not yet begun.
